On behalf of the City of Cape Town I would like to welcome visitors to the 2008
Cape Town Comedy Festival website. I would also like to thank the performers and organisers for
their continued dedication to making this an annual tradition for our citizens to enjoy.
For those of you not familiar with the festival, I hope that a look at this
year’s line-up of national and international talent will convince you to give it a try. It is the
best opportunity you will get to lighten up your winter with some good laughs.
And for those who are already hooked, like me, I don’t need to say anything
except “see you there!”
