Yoyo People USA
Husband and wife duo John Higby and Rebecca Loomis Higby have breathed new life into the dying art of yoyoing. Higby's first big break was performing at the Denver
Busker Festival and he was soon performing his yoyo tricks abroad. He met his future wife and performing
partner, Rebecca, in 2000 and they became Yoyo People. Aside from reviving favorite tricks such as Walk
the Dog and Rock the Baby, they have invented new and bizarre tricks that have to be seen to be believed.
Their consummate skill and deft timing coupled with high energy and sarcastic humor have made the Yo-Yo
People popular all over the world. |

Icarus AUS
This spring get down to the Waterfront to have a spring put in your step, thanks to Icarus, an Australian
performance troupe featuring giant bouncing kangaroos on powerskip stilts. Jumping up to a metre off
the ground and covering two metres in a single bound, they are a phenomenal sight which brings about
equal mesures of awe and glee. The genetically modified kangas have characters that fuse outback macho
with inner city punk savvy. Always 'Roo'd' but never offensive, these bizzare marsupials were voted second
best act after Coldplay at the 2002 Glastonbury Festival. |

John Tea UK
John Tea spends his life tasting tea at ceremonies around the world, yet he is still on a crazed search
for the perfect cup. This show is an aromatic blend of British comedy, mixed with a gentle hint of
physical stupidity, and a subtle infusion of confused historical references. Best suited for those
with a light hearted palete. Aside from a mild obsession with hot leafy drinks, John has also performed
as one half of the comedy double act – Stretch People who have toured festivals, theatres and
cabarets around the world since 1993. |
